Polly Briggs Maynard is a 2005 graduate of MS State University with a degree in marketing. A native of Scooba, ms, Polly has made Starkville her home the majority of her adult life. After completing her education at MSU, she resided in Flowood and Gulfport before returning to Starkville in 2012.Following a few life changing events, Polly decided it was time to pursue her lifelong passion for skincare and enrolled at Amory Cosmetology Academy to study Esthetics and became a Licensed Esthetician in June of 2017. She has discovered her true passion in the ever growing and evolving field of Esthetics.
As The Beauty Bar grew, Polly realized her love for waxing and opened WaxClubSTK in June 2024. The business evolved and The Beauty Bar combined locations with WaxClub in April 2025. You can find them both at 300 Greensboro Street, Starkville, MS.
